Rome, the city where hope springs eternal. It is a city that is proud of its ancient glorious heritage, the center of a civilization that once expanded its empire throughout Europe, Africa and Asia. Rome is a city drenched in history and Christianity. First-time visitors may be easily overwhelmed by all this magnificent city has to offer. After all, one can find history and art on almost every street corner. That’s why visitors may want to do their homework to narrow down what they want to see and do before they get on a plane bound for the Italian capital.

This is an ancient federal capital city! In this fabulous tourist jewel, the residents and visitors magically ignore traffic laws and civic responsibilities! The Mayor runs around flapping his arms and screaming about the lawless electric bikes, causing chaos and mayhem! No end of excitement, when every visitor and their auntie brings the same lack of community conscience, to this ancient masterpiece! Tourists would be well advised, to not do as the Romans do. The Romans gave up their responsibilities years ago., So obeying traffic laws would be a good way to be treated well. Running over Romans and bumping into residents, is considered to be bad form! It looks like a contact sport, but it isn't. If the Mayor started putting up security cameras in tourist areas, he could find out the traffic compliance rates and if he published these, it would smarten up tourists fast. Italians fanaticise about lawful streets in their capital. They dream about Roman civic duty, just as the ancient Romans did! Lend me your ears! This ancient capital needs tourists, who respect and love Rome! The ones that just want to trash it – stay home! CIAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most epic solo trip ever. Very beautiful and safe city. I would recommend that you look up a very basic Roman history before you go there……it will give you more of an appreciation of this wonderful city.
