Few countries can rival Vietnam for such a wild, diverse and frankly baffling selection of delicacies available on every street corner. Our Vietnamese friends showed us how to really find good street food in Hanoi and eat like a local. If you are visiting Hanoi, Vietnam, we’ll show you the unmissable stops if you want an authentic Vietnamese culinary experience. Join us on the first of what will be many Vietnam street food tour videos.
When we first came to Hanoi, we paid $25 each for a street food tour but this time, we show you not only what we learned on the tour, but also the best street food available in the Old Quarter, as recommended by Hanoi locals.
Among the dishes we tried, we discovered exotic creations such as the famous Hanoi egg coffee – and egg beer! Karen also reacts to her first time eating snails. Snails are more of a Saigon specialty but we couldn’t resist trying it.
Let us know if there are any Vietnamese foods that we missed out. We stayed in Hanoi’s Old Quarter this time but we’d love to make more videos about Vietnam’s amazing food so please let us know if there are any dishes that we’ve missed out.
If you are curious about living in Mexico or living in Vietnam, please feel free to check out our channel. We have loads of videos about the cost of living in different countries.
