  8. I have another theory about the title of the song. The number 8 also means infinity if you flip if on the side. The song has a theme of "forever" and she means that she will always remember them. In the song, I also notice that the lizard is Jonghyung. When she couldn't find the lizard she worried for it. Later in the song she smiled when she saw the lizard and the girl with the white dress (could hara or sulli) flying away happily. She knows that they are now free from the cage that made them so miserable.
    Second, when she sang "are you happy now?" IU could be referring if they at peace, are they free from all the happy to be free from all the scrutiny they faced? She worries for them because of the terrible things they faced. She also never got the closure she wanted as stated in the song "Everyone comes and goes as they wish, even without a goodbye." IU feels as if something is missing and she feels lonely because all her friends were miserable and couldn't think of another way to get through. They resort to suicide and left without saying a word to her. She wants closure. At 2:43, she finally got the closure she needs. They gave her a sign that they are doing alright and that they never left her. Sulli, Hara, and Jonghyung are all watching over her.
